Kitchenaid KAWS850GQ1 Drive/gear/transmission/clutch problem? My washer is making a loud stripped gear sound during the spin cycle. I have removed the complete top and bottom agitator, and it is still doing it so I imagine there is another gear under the tub? ( I can watch the top gear on the large rod coming thru the tub bottom, and the ratcheting sound is in sync with the drive rod moving. It IS still moving, though.
This is a KitchenAid attachment that I built. KitchenAid does not sell these. It makes Cavatelli perfectly every time.
